Geothermal Energy
Geothermal energy is heat that’s generated from the earth. It’s a renewable energy source because heat is constantly being produced within the earth. Temperatures higher than the sun are created due to the slow decaying of radioactive particles which occurs in all rocks. This heat can be recovered and utilized as heating sources and electricity geothermal energy are found in geothermal reservoirs, which are located near plate boundaries. Geothermal Energy makes its way to the earth’s surface through liquid or steam; thus, they travel in the form of volcanoes, hot springs, and geysers. This energy is more abundant in western states and in the rim of fire that encircles the Pacific Ocean.
Biomass
•Sugar cane is fermented to make alcohol, which can be burned to generate power.
•Other solid wastes can be burned to generate heat or make steam for a power station.
•Biomass Energy Resources LLC is a renewable energy development company.
•Biomass supplied far more renewable electricity than wind and solar power combined
•Without sustainable, low-carbon bio power, it will likely be more expensive and take longer to transform to a clean energy economy.
•Energy crops can be grown on farms in potentially large quantities and in ways that don't displace or otherwise reduce food production.
•By heating biomass in the presence of a carefully controlled amount of oxygen and under pressure, it can be converted into a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide called syngas.
•Unprocessed biomass energy systems contain less energy.
Using corn, corn stalks, wheat, pine cones, twigs, and bark to generate heat in your home or drive your vehicle. Anything that decomposes or burns can be used to generate energy for your home or car.
