Welcome to the South Plantation High School Social Studies Department website. This site will inform students and parents about the different courses found throught high school Social Studies classes. Also, their is a list of the many teachers found within the Social Studies department. Over four years in highschool students will have to take Social Studies to tally up for credits for graduation.

There are three sets of courses which include many different types of classes. These courses include... Regular, Honors and Advanced Placement. Students are placed in these classes depending on their levels of education. Students who have a hard time with Social Studies in general and need to take it at a normal pace take regular classes. Students who are looking for a challange may enjoy honors, but the hardest of these courses is Advance Placement. AP courses are rigorous, but students are rewarded in the end with a college credit.
