This class is split into two different parts. The first part, Technical Writing, takes place during the first semester. Technical Writing is designed to prepare
students for college level writing within the life and social science fields, as well as immerse students in their individual projects with guidance from faculty members. The second part, Limnology, takes place during the second semester. Limnology is the study of inland freshwater ecosystems, such as lakes and ponds. Throughout the course, students will better understand the fundamentals of water chemistry, freshwater ecology, and limnology's role in water conservation and management. Students can also pursue a solar energy based senior project while enrolled. The class is taught by Mr. Zealy.
