In Marine Science, students examine the Earth's bodies of water and how geologic structures affect them. Students will learn the characteristics of various populations, patterns of distribution of life in aquatic systems, along with the constant changes that are present in the Earth's ecosystems. Students will explore the relationships between living organism and how they are influenced by aquatic factors. Students in marine science participate in beach clean ups and work in collaboration with Fabien Cousteau and Plant-a-Fish to help restore mangrove habitats. The class is taught by Mrs. Jacobi.
